Datasets used in the project
ForBioMon is advancing forest biodiversity monitoring by bringing together data from three major forest monitoring networks: National Forest Inventories, forestREplot, and ICP Forests. By combining these complementary data sources, the project helps improve our understanding of how forest biodiversity changes over time and across regions.
Use the interactive map to explore the data used in the project.
- Shaded countries or regions show the coverage of National Forest Inventories in this project.
- Points mark forestREplot study areas and ICP Forests monitoring plots.
- Filters allow you to view sites by dominant forest type, the year of the earliest survey (baseline survey), and the time span between the earliest and most recent surveys (Intercensus interval).
